Shipping Info

Our products range in size from small to large and require different shipping methods. We will use either UPS or FedEx to ship small to medium size parts. Large and/or heavy products will be shipped via truck freight. The trucking company used will vary. Expedited shipping options are available for additional charges - ask your salesperson for details. All shipping charges should be quoted at time of order although there may be times when we have to call you back to give you a price.

Important Truck Freight Shipping Information

Certain products must be delivered via truck freight due to size. Whether the item will be installed immediately or not, you MUST inspect the item before signing any paperwork – even if the box doesn’t look damaged. You are allowed to take the item out of its packaging to inspect for damage.

Damages

Your shipment is insured by the trucking company that makes the delivery – NOT by PURPOSE BUILT. If you find your item(s) damaged, you MUST have the driver note the damage on the delivery receipt. If the damage is severe, please refuse delivery and call our office immediately - we will take care of the claim and send you a replacement immediately. If you find the item damaged after you have signed and accepted the item and the damage was not noted on the delivery receipt, neither PURPOSE BUILT nor the trucking company will be able to help you with a claim. By signing the delivery receipt, you are certifying that you have received your item(s) in good condition. If you ship to someone other than yourself, you must let them know to inspect the item(s) for damage. If they sign the delivery receipt certifying that the item was in good condition when it arrived and you find any damage after the fact, neither PURPOSE BUILT nor the trucking company will be able to help you with a claim.

Important Glass Shipping Information

Due to the fragile nature of glass, in order to assure that you receive your product in tact, we have gone the extra mile in packaging. The following charges will be added to glass orders to cover the cost of the protective packaging and will be added to the actual shipping fee.

  • Windshield/Back Glass Add $30.00
  • Complete Glass Kit Add $50.00

Most glass orders must be shipped truck freight due to size and weight restrictions. Please call us if you have any questions about shipping before placing your order.

You may place your order either by phone , email or on our website. Our toll free number is (888) 40-BUILT. Use our Contact Us page to email us with any questions. Please include a name and call-back phone number in your email.

Prices

Due to unforeseeable price increases associated with manufacturing, all prices are subject to change without prior notification. Call to speak with a salesperson to ensure up-to-date pricing and to check availability.

Payment

We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. We also accept payment via money order, cashiers check, or personal check. PURPOSE BUILT reserves the right to hold orders paying by personal check for 3-7 days to allow for clearance. Sorry, we cannot ship any orders out COD.

Returns

You may return any unused, undamaged, and resalable part in its original packaging for exchange credit or refund within 30 days of purchase. Some items may be subject to a restocking fee of 15%. All returns MUST have prior approval before returning them to us. Special ordered and or custom items may NOT be returned. Shipping fees that are incurred from returning any item to us is your responsibility. Finally, if the return shipment is damaged in transit, you are responsible for filing the claim with the carrier.
